Angie was a fine hostess. She was the one member on the Newsgroup who was willing to go horseback riding with me. We tried out two stables. The ranch in the Hollywood Hills (wonderful view ) and in Griffith Park (better saddles) were both excellent and we really enjoyed ourselves. I found it very wild and challenging. Even though I can ride I had not ridden on a 'Western' saddle before. I am so use to English style that when I tried what was familiar to me my body screamed. A friend who owns horses, up here, has promised to get me use to both styles so I will never have those problems again.

Angie is taking classes with the unstoppable Jeff Goldblum. One night he was playing Jazz at the bar in the Argyle Hotel. He was wonderful. I really enjoyed the evening and was glad she invited me along.
