Of course I had to visit the ever world famous theatre.
When I arrived first thing in the morning it was sooooo crowded. I
went for a long walk up and down Hollywood and Vine and stopped at
every star for every performer that I feel contributed the most to
the entertainment industry. I was disappointed to discover Lucille
Ball's star out near the edge and in dire need of repair. I was
amused to find Marilyn Monroe's star in front of Mc. Donalds. When I
returned to Mann's the crowds had died down a little and I took a
couple pics of the Star Wars imprints. That was just classic. R2,
C3PO and Vader immortalised in cement along with the greats. I
decided to take a tour (an air conditioned bus seemed ideal by this
point) to get the chance to look at some of the great architecture in
the Hollywood Hills and there about. It was so funny watching people
try top take pics over tall bushes and through gates and fences. I
just sat back and enjoyed the ride. Lastly. When I returned I popped
myself down amoungst a few of the fondly remembered and got my pic
taken. By this time there was next to no one about and that was just
fine.
