The day was full of folly and definately merry making...
Well.... Umm... I know it is a church but did you have to put us in
the stocks?
Being a larger and longer running festival than Ontario's,
it had plenty more activity on the grounds. The day also wound up
warmer and unseasonably sunny.
It was great.. and crowded. The girl with the elephants
was saying that she had not seen so many people before.
Note: The elephant ride was an early Christmas gift from
our friend Bret Bowen. Also. The girl leading the packaderms
giggled a lot as she listened to Martin and I compare the
larger beasts to the horses that we've ridden.
THE ROGUES (from Texas ^_^)
When we were planning our Renewal I searched the web for
sheet music for Bonny Portmore. When I discovered that they were
doing a version for
their latest album I emailled them for advice. They posted
(Actual postal system.. wow) a photocopy of their notes to me. I was
so happy that
when I discovered their presence at the fair I had to go
see them. I almost cried. I LOVED IT! I bought the latest CD (with
Portmore on it) and hope
to afford the rest one day. Their webpage is
