I LOVEDTHE MARYLAND JOUSTING RING!

You were closer to the action. The costume hosts were louder. The character that came through in the action (facial expressions, etc.) was great. Fabulous and wonderful.

I was also happy to see the same jousting team on the field. You can truely tell that both Festivals are run by the same people.

This is our Cheer master. What energy.

Unfortunately he had to deal with a small group of kids who refused to stay away from the barrier (the parents did naught to solve it)

and during one joust a splinter (a large one at that) came flying into the audience and hit one girl. When he jumped

down to her aid she laughed and said she was fine. They let her keep the piece as a sovenier.
