Batman

*Harley Quinn and Joker were for Hallowe'en and we competed in them for Ad Astra, two years running. The one year it was just the two of us then John Rakich joined us as Batman.

*We even showed up for Ed The Sock's 'bat' episode.

* Here's a story for you:

The one time we went downtown for Hallowe'en we parked the car at a subway stop and took the subway into the core. When we came back more people were with us than when we had left so John decided to walk with a few of the others while we drove. Envision this; Joker behind the wheel, Harl beside him, costumed freaks in the back and Batman walking down the street. Now... Add the Joker leaning out the window laughing, Harl out the other one yelling 'wheeeeee' and Batman running down the sidewalk, cape flowing out behind him chasing after the car. I don't think we need to describe the look on the face of the old man sitting on the front steps of the senior home. Do we?

BJ & Lyds

*We wound up doing three different versions. The animated versions and the wedding version did compete in a number of masquerades and once more, came out for Hallowe'en. That darn hoop skirt. Going through doors and trying to go to the washroom while at a pub.... Not an easy task. No photo of the simplier movie version.

XMen

*We did Wolverine and Jean.

*Our skits on stage consisted of Wolverine once more trying to talk Jean into dumping Scott (Cyclops) and being with him. With working claws Wolverine's presence was felt.

*John added another character to our already completed pair of costumes. Gambit joined us on Hallowe'en.

Generation X

*All right. Truth be told. These costumes were just a ploy to get Christina into her first corset.

*Emma Frost (White Queen) and Sean Cassidy (Banshee).

*The Movie version competed at Ad Astra but we never got to compete the comic book versions. They became hall costumes.

*Ad Astra's skit was one of my favourites to do. Anyone have a video copy?

ReBoot

*We just had to do Bob and Dot.

*They competed twice but never won anything other than workmanship awards. It was still during the early years of ReBoot and the judges didn't know who or what we were. Oh well. we had fun. As you can see, we went all out at Hallowe'en.
